Location Update on Bloomington Veterans Memorial
We’re thrilled to announce that the future Bloomington Veterans Memorial will be built in a dedicated park space at Harrison Park, 1701 W. 100th Street in collaboration with the Nine Mile Creek Corridor project. After exploring other locations, we’ve determined that Harrison Park offers the best fit, with accessible parking and a serene atmosphere for reflection. This partnership will streamline construction and provide cost savings, ensuring the funds donated for the memorial will be used for the meaningful design elements.
We’re still accepting donations and veteran registrations to be listed on the memorial. For more information, please view this site for details. Thank you for your continued support!
The memorial will be designed to honor and recognize all veterans, to educate the public on the firsthand experiences of veterans and to show why we should continue to honor these heroes for the freedoms we enjoy. The future Bloomington Veterans Memorial will be built in a dedicated park space at Harrison Park (1701 W. 100th Street) in Bloomington, MN.
